About Me
My Background and Vision for Grand Terrace
My name is Shad Boal, and I am a proud 21-year resident of the great city of Grand Terrace. I have had the privilege of raising four children here, who have attended Terrace View Elementary, Terrace Hills Middle School, and Grand Terrace High School. Raising my family in a small, safe, family-friendly community has truly been my American Dream, and I feel blessed to call Grand Terrace my home.
I am deeply committed to our community, enjoying my time volunteering and participating as chair for the Veterans Wall of Freedom, a cause I am honored to support in recognition of our brave servicemen and women who defend our freedom. Additionally, I serve as a committee member of the Grand Terrace Foundation.
Though I lack formal political experience, I consider this one of my strongest assets. Growing up in a family-owned business taught me the importance of budgeting, managing overhead costs, and understanding the impacts that elected officials and policies can have on small businesses and families.
My professional experience as a Building Inspector for both San Bernardino County and Riverside County, has given me valuable insights. Additionally, I run an electrical contracting business during my off hours. These roles allow me to interact with citizens daily, hearing their concerns and frustrations about the negative impacts of certain policies.
I am seeking your support to enable me to represent your voice and act on your concerns, wants, and needs. I am committed to working tirelessly for the betterment of our community and look forward to the honor of serving you.
